Virginia to Virginia (part 2)
We started the day off with a 0700 wakeup call and breakfast in the restaurant on the roof of the hotel. Roger picked us up and took us to the Ford Theatre. We then listened to a man talk about the Ford Theatre and we also went throughout the museum. We hiked to the Spy City Café and looked at the museum. There were many exhibits about the history of spies and espionage. A Lot of the scouts went to the gift shop and purchased fun, spy toys. A lot of these toys were lasers. We walked over to the American Museum of National History. On the way, we saw a parade with Scouts and other people. In the museum, we looked at the exhibits and then went to the gift shop. There were many restaurants in the museum and we ate at them. Then we walked over to the National Archives and looked at the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. We drove over to the Jefferson memorial and looked at that. We headed back to the hotel and went to bed.
