Virginia to Virginia

We got up at 0600 for a 0700 breakfast.  We went on a tour of Washington DC. The bus took us on a tour of the Capitol Building and the place where the senate and congress meet. We also watched a video about the Senate and the House of Representatives.  The bus picked us up and we went over to eat lunch. We drove around in the bus and saw many monuments. We went to dinner at the Crystal City Sports Pub.  There were a lot of TVs with many different sports channels playing. We had macaroni & cheese, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. We went back on to the bus and drove to the Mall. Roger dropped us off and we toured the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and others. We got picked up later and headed home. The events were ended early because at 2000 (8PM), it was still 96 degrees outside.
